CO2-neutraler Innovationshub

The second EUREF innovation campus in Germany is being built right next to the Düsseldorf Airport long-distance train station. A special challenge of this campus is that it is completely regenerative and will achieve the CO₂ climate protection targets of the state capital Düsseldorf by 2035 right from the start.

“Not even the toilets are standard”

One thing is clear. If a Swiss research institution builds a new campus, no run-of-the-mill applications will be used. On the building site in Dübendorf, Implenia is teaming up with the client, the Eidgenössischen Materialprüfungs- und Forschungsanstalt (Empa, or Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology) to create innovative solutions.
