VR safety training: Experience tunnel construction virtually now
The training programme has now been expanded to include a new virtual reality module on tunnel construction. Implenia provided technical guidance and financial support for the development of the new module in collaboration with Suva, BearingPoint and other partners. Our expertise in tunnel construction has also been incorporated into the development.
Safety can be experienced
This means that health and safety at work can be more than just explained – it can be experienced. In the virtual environment, employees can identify hazards, take decisions and make mistakes – without any real-world consequences. It is precisely this direct experience that makes risks tangible and can help to embed safe behaviour in the long term.
