Thanks to intensive collaboration at all levels, we as Team Implenia were able to complete the transformation last year ahead of schedule. With the sharpened service portfolio, the focus on large, complex projects and the value assurance approach for all projects, we are well positioned for the next strategic phase: "Fit for Growth". We will continue to focus primarily on improving our profitability, not on revenue growth. To achieve this, we are systematically aligning our four strategic priorities.

We are continuously optimizing our business portfolio by developing promising and high-margin business areas, whether through organic growth or inorganic growth along the value chain, such as the acquisition of Wincasa.
We are also continuing what we have successfully started: Thanks to our proven expertise, we are specializing in sustainable, standardized real estate products, in building construction projects in the healthcare, research and development, and data center sectors, and in complex infrastructure projects for transport and energy supply. We are also increasingly involved in early project phases with consulting and planning services.
With our integrated offering across all four divisions, we are strengthening our market presence in Switzerland and Germany. In other markets, we continue to focus on tunneling and related infrastructure.
Our goal is to grow profitably in all divisions. To achieve this, we exclude projects from the outset that do not convince us in terms of costing and monitor profitability throughout the project lifecycle. We achieve this by means of value assurance, project controlling, contract management and operational excellence, according to which we efficiently align our processes along the entire value chain to customer benefits. We also focus on liquidity, which we ensure in the projects with prompt invoicing.
We develop and implement innovative solutions that bring sustainable added value to our customers' projects. We set new standards in industrialization, digitalization, BIM and sustainability. Implenia draws innovative strength from various sources: via open innovation from the environment of start-ups, universities and technology companies, via investments in or the acquisition of SMEs, start-ups and scale-ups that promise new, scalable business models, and via intrapreneurship among employees.
Often, and ideally, innovations are driven by operations. Examples of this are the development of the HS-EPS compression element for tunnel construction and a calculator that determines the break-even threshold for energy modernization measures in building construction.
