Another major project for the 2nd Munich main line launched

The Ostbahnhof Tunnel consortium (ARGE), under the commercial leadership of Implenia Civil Engineering, is building the connection between Ostbahnhof and the Marienhof stop. Marienhof station in the heart of the Bavarian capital. To this end, two traffic tunnels and a rescue tunnel, two rescue shafts, the new Munich East underground station and a new railroad underpass are being built over a distance of around three kilometers.
Both ARGE partners are already working together on the neighboring lot of the second S-Bahn main line, the future Marienhof stop. We look forward to continuing this successful collaboration as ARGE Tunnel Ostbahnhof.
